Self-therapy means taking care of yourself using your own inner tools.
With simple tips and daily exercises, you can learn to handle many challenges on your own. 😌
It works best for mild to moderate issues, and it’s also a great way to support regular therapy. You can keep working on yourself between sessions.
The method we use at MindDay is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
It’s one of the most well-known and effective types of therapy in the world. It's been proven to help with stress, self-confidence, relationships, addictions, sleep, and more.
How does self-therapy work on MindDay?
MindDay is built for daily use. 🗓️
The goal is to build new habits—especially in how you think.
And studies show that consistency and repetition make the biggest difference.
Here’s what you’ll find in the app:
- ☀️ Programs
Short daily videos designed to be quick and easy. They're made to help you care for yourself, one day at a time.
- 🎬 Sessions
These go deeper. Each one lasts about 15 to 20 minutes and includes practical exercises.
They need a bit more thought afterward, so we suggest no more than 4 per week—around one every other day if you're aiming for a steady pace.
- 🧘♂️ Meditations
A classic tool in therapy. When done regularly, meditation helps lower anxiety and makes it easier to deal with tough emotions.
Our meditations are beginner-friendly, but also great if you’ve done it before.
- 🧠 Self-hypnosis
Another helpful technique. You enter a light trance to break free from deep-rooted, limiting beliefs.
- ❔ Tests
These short tests, designed by our psychologists, help you reflect on yourself and see which areas of your life you want to improve.
- 🎓 Psychoeducation
These sessions teach you about psychology and help you understand how different therapies work.

Only have 5 minutes a day? That’s fine!
Even 5 minutes is a win when you use it to care for yourself. 💙
What matters most is that you take care of yourself—in your own way, and at your own pace.
But remember, just like physical training, progress comes with consistency! 🏃♂️
