At the beginning of each sleep self-hypnosis session, we ask you to watch a simple stream of images for about 2 minutes—things like a cat, a bus, a planet, a radio… 🐱 🚍 🪐 📻
This flow of icons helps put your brain into the same state it enters when it naturally sorts through the day’s images before falling asleep. It’s a way of signaling to your brain that the day is over, and it’s time to rest. 🧠 In more technical terms, it helps you ease into the hypnagogic state—that gentle phase between wakefulness and sleep.
These images don’t tell a story, and there’s no need to remember them. They’re completely random and unconnected.
Some people are more sensitive to this visual flow than others—but for many, it’s a gentle and effective way to drift into sleep.
