I Was Charged Even Though I Deleted My Account

How Refunds Work

You can delete your MindDay account and personal data at any time.

⚠️
However, this does not automatically cancel any upcoming payments at the end of your free trial or during subscription renewal.

That’s because payments are handled by our official resellers: the App Store, Play Store, and the web platform Paddle.

So when you delete your MindDay account, your trial or subscription will still remain active on the store where you signed up.

As stated in our Terms of Use (available here), refund requests are subject to the policies of the store through which you purchased your subscription.

The name you see on your bank statement belongs to that store, and they are responsible for handling any refunds.

This means MindDay cannot issue refunds directly—you’ll need to contact the store where you subscribed.

💡
To find out which store you used, check the name on your invoice or bank statement.

  • If you subscribed via the App Store, follow the refund steps here.
  • If you subscribed via the Play Store, follow the steps here.
  • If you subscribed via our web platform (Paddle):
      1. Go to this link and enter the same email address you used for your trial.
        1. You’ll receive a message at that address.

      1. Click “Verify and show Purchases” in the email.
      1. Click “Get Help.”
      1. Request a “Refund.”

⚠️
Refunds must be requested within 48 hours of the charge. After this time, the store may refuse your request.
💡
Also, make sure you haven’t accidentally created two accounts using different email addresses. You can check this by looking at the emails you’ve received from MindDay.

If everything’s going to the same address, you’re all set—you only have one account. 😉
